How long have you been at NSAI?
Since June 2016

What made you fall in love with music?
I’ve been around music for as long as I can remember. Both of my parents are musicians and music teachers. The specific moment when I decided I needed to be in music was when I was performing with my a cappella group in college. Standing in the middle of the circle of voices, blended harmonies, powerful and fragile simultaneously. Sometimes we would bring our audience members to tears. That’s when I realized the power of music and how it can heal the human soul; I had to be part of that.

What was your first concert?
First arena concert was Britney Spears. As a little girl, I was in awe when she flew out on her “magic carpet” into the audience.

What genre of music do you listen to the most?
Pop music is my genre of choice, especially with a funk or R&B flare to it. I was exposed to a lot of Jazz music growing up. I also love Country music for the storytelling aspect.

Who is your favorite artist/band?
Tori Kelly, James Taylor, Maren Morris, Ben Rector, ZZ Ward, Charlie Worsham, Shania Twain, Meghan Trainor

What do you like most about working at NSAI?
I love encouraging people to push themselves and improve their skills. When you find a driven person with exceptional talent, helping their dreams become a reality can be very rewarding.
