Gary Nicholson

A Texas native, Gary is a current Board member, serves on the Legislative Committee, has travelled to Washington, D.C., to lobby for songwriters and has hosted legislative fundraiser shows for NSAI.  Gary’s songwriting credits include Montgomery Gentry’s “She Couldn’t Change Me,” the Garth Brooks - Trisha Yearwood Duet “Squeeze Me In,” T. Graham Brown’s “Brilliant Conversationalist,” Vince Gill’s “The Reason Why” & “One More Last Chance,” Wynonna’s “When Love Starts Talking,” Patty Loveless’ “A Thousand Times A Day” and “The Trouble With The Truth” and Don Williams’ “That’s The Thing About Love.”  Gary’s song, “Falling And Flying,” appeared in the movie Crazy Heart.
