LIVE WORKSHOP: Song Feedback with Bruce Wallace

This is a member-only event, and you must be present to play. 

This event will take place in person at NSAI: 

1710 Roy Acuff Pl. Nashville, TN 37203

 

 Doors will open at 5:15pm CST

If you plan to pitch a song, please be prepared with an MP3 version that you can easily play from your phone, along with two lyric sheets for the song you chose. 

(Cassette tapes will not be accepted.)

 

For this pitch, we will be listening to the first verse and first chorus of each song, taking up to 50 songs in total. 

 

If you arrive earlier than 5:15pm, you will be asked to wait in line, on the covered porch. Members from over 75 miles outside of Davidson County or over a two-hour drive will be given priority. 

 

Once inside, you will sign in at the front desk and give your lyrics sheets of the song you chose, to the receptionist.  

 

NSAI Weekly Workshops take place in our studio. 

Please note that food and drink are NOT permitted in the studio. 

NSAI does not require you to wear a mask, but we encourage you to do what feels most comfortable.

 

You are able to pitch one song per day. If you would like to attend both morning and evening pitch sessions, you are allowed one song to be pitched at one session and attend as an observer at the other session.

 

If you are unable to attend this workshop in person, please note that it will not be re-distributed for later viewing. 

 

Non-Member

NSAI non-members are permitted to observe two workshops prior to joining at no cost. If you have attended more than two workshops as a non-member, you will be asked to join NSAI as a member to fully benefit from membership and attend future events. 

 

PARKING:

Limited parking will be available in the NSAI parking lot. 

Additional parking is available on the street and in neighboring paid lots.

More about Bruce Wallace:

Bruce moved to Nashville in 1987 from southern Oklahoma. He quickly jumped into the musician/ touring sideman/ session player part of the business. 

For over seventeen years, Bruce played guitar for artists such as Shelby Lynne, Billy Burnette, Mindy Smith, Lari White, Wynona Judd, David Gates of Bread, and many others. 

In 2006,  Bruce decided to focus more on the songwriter side of his talents, signing a publishing deal with OLE (now Anthem) and was a staff songwriter with them for almost a decade. 

His songs have been recorded by Gary Alan, Dierks Bentley, Trace Adkins, Charlie Pride, Montgomery Gentry, Gretchen Wilson, Kix Brooks, Live, Nine Days, as well as numerous international cuts in Canada, Sweden, and Australia. 

As the newest member of The Little River Band, Bruce is currently writing for their new record, touring the country, and loving every minute of it.
