MAY MADNESS - 10 Songs They Wish They'd Written 2022 Ballot

Each year, the professional songwriter members of NSAI receive a ballot to vote on the '10 Songs I Wish I’d Written' awards. The top vote-getter earns NSAI 'Song of the Year' and the next 10 highest vote-getters win a '10 Songs I Wish I’d Written' award (for a total of 11 awards from the ballot). Winners are revealed and celebrated each year at the annual Nashville Songwriter Awards presented by City National Bank each September.

Now is the chance for you to join in on the fun!  Do you know how professional songwriters think and what songs they would say they wish they’d written this year?  Fill out your own ballot just like the pros do!  ANYONE can participate whether you are a member or non-member you are eligible to win the GRAND PRIZE package: a 1-year NSAI membership, 2 round-trip flights* to Nashville, 2 nights hotel stay in Nashville and 2 tickets to the 2022 Nashville Songwriter Awards presented by City National Bank! 

How do you win? Choose 10 of the 11 songs that you think our professional songwriters voted on this year to be awarded at the Nashville Songwriter Awards (Song of the Year plus the '10 Songs I Wish I'd Written'), and you will be entered into a drawing for the GRAND PRIZE, 2nd Prize (1-year NSAI membership), and 3rd Prize (6-month NSAI membership).

YOU MUST CHOOSE 10 SONGS TO BE ELIGIBLE TO WIN

To be included on the ballot, songs must meet the following criteria:

• At least one of the writers is a Nashville-based songwriter
• Appear in the top 20 on the Billboard Country Airplay Chart, Billboard Pop Songs Airplay Chart, Billboard Rock & Alternative Airplay Chart or in the top 10 on the Billboard Christian Airplay Chart during the period May 2021 – April 2022
