Coordinator: Jerry Silverstein 
Bio: Jerry lives on the North Fork of Long Island and currently writes full time, pitching his songs both in New York and Nashville. He has been a member of NSAI since 1992 and has attended numerous NSAI seminars and song camps. In 2003 his song "Dances Turn Into Dreams" was included in the score of "Urban Cowboy- The Musical" at the Broadhurst Theater on Broadway. Subsequently, he and the other Urban Cowboy songwriters were nominated for a Tony Award for Best Original Score for a Musical. He has been co-coordinator of the Long Island Workshop since 2001. The workshop meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at Five Towns College in Dix Hills and coordinates other events with the NY Metro Workshop.

Coordinator: Stella Betty Davie
Bio: Stella has been a member of NSAI since 2006. Now an aspiring lyricist, Stella’s background is in theater and education.
During her time as a member of the Long Island NSAI Workshop, she has learned about songwriting, the music business, networking and the pure joy that comes from creating something out of nothing.
Stella believes that as long as she has The Oprah Winfrey Show, a healthy supply of romance novels and Antonio Banderas, she’ll never be at a loss for song ideas…
