| I recently called NSAI and asked for some ideas on getting a Christmas song out there. Sheree, as always, was extremely nice and helpful. She suggested getting the Music Row Publishers edition and calling publishers about it. Since this was the one time of year Christmas projects were in the works, she said some of them might listen. I called over 140 publishers from the magazine. I expected few would be willing to listen to my song. I was surprised to find that over 30 asked to hear it either by email or hard copy mailed to them. I received reponses from nearly all of them with fantastic feedback. Along the way I talked to publishers, writers, performers and others in the industry who had wonderful advice. A Mr. Albright in particular was extremely helpful. He gave me some information that let me put my song into hands I never thought it would get to. He had glowing things to say about Sheree and NSAI and I greatly appreciated his time and candor. This experience opened new doors for me, this song and for songs in the future. It let me start new relationships that I never expected. Thanks to NSAI and Sheree.
