A Louisiana native, Roxie has lobbied with NSAI in Washington, D.C. She moved to Nashville immediately after her college graduation and began her songwriting career with Millhouse Music in 1996 before signing with Warner/Chappell and later Zomba. In addition to Jamie O’Neal’s “When I Think About Angels” Lee Ann Womack’s “Why They Call It Falling” and Tracy Lawrence’s “Lonely,” Roxie’s songwriting credits include cuts by Reba McEntire, Lee Ann Womack, Chely Wright, Tammy Cochran, Jolie Edwards and Tamara Walker. |
