A North Carolina native, Byron is NSAI Secretary, chairs the Adopt-a-Shop committee and is very active in NSAI’s Regional Workshops Program. He serves on the Membership Committee and the Legislative Committee, where he spearheads NSAI’s fight against frivolous lawsuits. Byron’s songwriting credits include Gary Allan’s “Nothing On But The Radio,” Joe Nichols’ “Size Matters (Someday),” Johnny Lee’s “Pickin’ Up Strangers,” George Strait’s “Foolhearted Memory,” Alabama’s “Born Country,” Tracy Byrd’s “Lifestyles Of The Not So Rich And Famous,” George Jones’ “High-Tech Redneck,” Neal McCoy’s “If I Was A Drinkin’ Man” and Sammy Kershaw’s “Politics, Religion And Her.”
