John Bettis

A California native, John's songwriting credits include the Carpenters' "Top Of The World," "I Need To Be In Love" and "Yesterday Once More," as well as "One Moment In Time" by Whitney Houston (the 1988 Olympics theme), "Crazy For You" by Madonna, "Slow Hand" by both the Pointer Sisters and Conway Twitty, "Human Nature" by Michael Jackson, "Only One Love In My Life" by Ronnie Milsap, "Heartland" by George Strait, "Right Here / Human Nature" by SWV and "When You Love A Woman" by Journey. John is active in legislative affairs and serves on the ASCAP Board of Directors.
