If you will be submitting a song for peer evaluation, you need to email nsaikc@gmail.com by midnight,Monday March 7th) and we'll send you the NSAI link to submit your song. THEN, you have until midnight Wednesday, March 9th to sign off on it and submit all of your info, lyrics and mp3 song file.
Barbara Cloyd guest speaker:
Probably the most notable thing about Barbara Cloyd is how many songwriters she has helped over the years.
Her work with other songwriters began when she was hired to launch the Monday Night Open Mic at The Bluebird Cafe, which even by its third year, had become the “it” place to play original music. From the start, the open mic became a stepping stone for a steady stream of hopefuls, including artists like Garth Brooks, Kenny Chesney and Dierks Bentley, as well as countless songwriters who went on to major chart success.
Her years of experience on the front lines of the Nashville songwriting community have given her a keen understanding of what works and what doesn’t.
Few things are more exciting to Barbara than discovering great talent and she always has en eye out for writers and artists she can help
