Josh Kear is a four-time Grammy winning songwriter known for creating legendary No.1 singles including "Before He Cheats" by Carrie Underwood, "God Your Mama and Me" by Florida Georgia Line, "Drunk on a Plane" by Dierks Bentley, "Need You Now" by Lady A, and "Drinking Class" by Lee Brice. He has earned several RIAA multi-platinum certifications, top spots in the Billboard Hot 100, and won numerous ACM and ASCAP Awards. He is also the only songwriter to win the “Country Song of the Year” Grammy three times. Kear has written singles including "Women, Amen" by Dierks Bentley, "Most People Are Good" by Luke Bryan, and "Highway Don’t Care" by Tim McGraw, ft. Taylor Swift and Keith Urban. Kear’s songs have been featured in countless television shows including The Bachelorette, Glee, The Glee Project, and The Voice. His music is also featured in films such as "Zero Dark Thirty" and "Country Strong." In addition to his success as a songwriter, Kear plays an important role in songwriter advocacy. He testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee in 2018 in support of the Music Modernization Act (MMA).
