Sharon Vaughn
A Florida native, Sharon recently moved back to Nashville full-time, but has long been an NSAI supporter and has played a number of fundraising shows for NSAI of late. Sharon’s prolific career has included a stint as an artist before her first hit as a songwriter “Y’all Come Back Saloon” for The Oak Ridge Boys followed soon by “My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys” (Waylon Jennings and later Willie Nelson) and followed up with hits like “I’m Not That Lonely Yet” (Reba McEntire) and “Lonely Too Long” (Patty Loveless) to name only a couple of her numerous credits. She was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2019.
