Tony Arata

A Savannah, Georgia native, Tony has been an active NSAI member and legislative champion for a number of years, joining us in DC as well as playing legislative shows in Nashville.  Tony has had Number 1 records with Patty Loveless’ “Here I Am,” Lee Roy Parnell’s “I’m Holding My Own,” Clay Walker’s “Dreaming With My Eyes Open,” and Garth Brooks’ “The Dance” which won song of the year at The Academy of Country Music and received both a CMA and a Grammy nomination, as well as a most performed song in Radio and Records Magazine.  Tony was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2012.
