Each quarter NSAI invites all of the local Nashville Music Publishers and PRO Reps to attend a luncheon. Congratulations to the NOMINEES whose songs are being considered for the PLAYLIST that gets sent to those 50+ Music Publishers. Songs considered for this PLAYLIST are recommended by the NSAI Song Evaluation Service and the NSAI Membership Representatives. These songs were recommended between 5/1/18 - 8/31/18.

Songs considered for this PLAYLIST are recommended by the NSAI Song Evaluation Service, from staff through workshops and online events, and Membership Representative meetings. These songs were recommended between 5/1/18 - 8/31/18 and will be sent in the playlist at the beginning of November 2018.

September 1st – September 30th “Recommended” Songs Considered for P2P Luncheon.
Congratulations to the writers below who had songs recommended between September 1st – September 30th for consideration for our Publisher Luncheon. These were submitted to the Song Evaluation Service and were recommended by the NSAI Evaluators who reviewed them. NSAI staffers will review all songs recommended for the February 2019 Publisher Luncheon.

December 3, 2018—The Songwriter MLC Selection Committee opened nominations in November 2018 for songwriter-members of the Board of Directors, Unclaimed Funds Committee and Dispute Resolution Committee of the Music Licensing Collective (MLC) to be submitted to the US Copyright Office for approval as established by the recently passed Music Modernization Act.

Monday December 3^rd, 2018, the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) honored Nashville-associated writers whose songs topped the BillboardAirplay, Digital, Hot and/or Mediabasecharts between June 2018 and October 2018 at an event held at The Listening Room Cafe. Songwriters in attendance were presented their awards by NSAI President, Steve Bogard and NSAI Executive Director, Bart Herbison, as well as Ashleigh Overly and Dustin Miller of SunTrust Bank, the official sponsor of the party.
