Katie came from a small town of 47 people in Southern Illinois. She began playing violin at four years old, and before she was 20 years old, was playing hundreds of shows a year at the biggest country festivals and stadium shows with Nashville artists Sara Evans and Billy Currington. She has taken that real-life musical experience from the road and transformed it into a tool to help songwriters and artists become the best at their craft.

In 2018 she joined Sony/ATV, and in just two short years has ascended to Senior Creative Director for BMG Music Publishing. Katie is extremely excited to continue expanding the careers of veteran writers and artists, while continuing to find and sign new talent.
