Online Weekly Workshop featuring Kara DioGuardi

Thanks for putting this out there for us to watch. Co-writes are fun. Sometimes humbling and you learn. Sometimes educational and you listen. Sometimes you put them on your back and sometimes you get carried. It's weird that I do co-writing better by sharing a doc together than meeting face to face, or zoom and many times my co-writes are me doing the lyrics and someone else doing the melody. I still have a hard time with someone taking something I've fully written as my story, and them taking pieces and then making it into their story. I'm learning to be less protective of what's "mine" in order to make the best song.
