The NSAI Indianapolis, IN chapter is honored and excited to welcome Music Publisher Bob Dellaposta for a zoom workshop on May 21, 2022. Bob has over 60 years experience as a professional in the music industry as a songwriter, arranger, musician, and teacher as well as a music publisher. Bob Co-founded Silver Spring Music Publishing (BMI) and On The Row Music Publishing (ASCAP) in 1989. Bob is currently head of A&R for the Nashville division of Banner Records (www.bannerrecords.com ) the President and Owner of My 3 Kids Music Publishing (BMI) founded in 1994 with world wide success and Muy Bambinos Music(ASCAP) Of the Post Music(SESAC).
Bob has had over 2450 songs recorded world-wide. Gold Record in Denmark (Ann Taylor) Platinum Record in Greece (Hi-5). #1 Jazz Album on I-Tunes, #1 in the UK, Canada (Sophie Milman) cuts by Dusty Drake, Clinton Gregory, Western Flyer, Emerson Drive (12 Gauge), Becky Hobbs and Bobby Vinton to name a few hundreds of Songs placed in television and movies. Musical background includes touring nationally with MEDUSA as a trumpet player, writer and arranger in the early 70’s-Writer, horn player and arranger for the nationally known swing band BadaBing BadaBoom, from 1995 to 2003.
B.S. in Music Education and Master’s Equivalent from Indiana University, Pennsylvania and has 27 years teaching experience in public and private schools as Marching and Concert Band Director, Musical Director, Choral Director, and class room instructor. He currently is teaching as an Adjunct Professor at NASHVILLE STATE COMMUNITY COLLEGE … Intro and Advanced Music Publishing, Intro & Advanced Songwriting, Fundamentals of Music Theory and the Business of Music.
