It was founded in 1997 by Travis Hill and producer Frank Liddell (Miranda Lambert, Lee Ann Womack, David Nail, Charlie Worsham, Chris Knight) when they signed singer/songwriter Bruce Robison. Carnival is credited with 15 number one songs including "Angry All The Time", "Travelin' Soldier, "Anything But Mine", "People Are Crazy", "White Liar" and "Mean To Me.
