LIVE WORKSHOP: Song Feedback with Elizabeth Elkins
This is a member-only event, and you must be present to play.
This event will take place in person at NSAI:

Doors will open at 5:15pm CST.
If you plan to play a song, please be prepared with an MP3 version that you can easily play from your phone, along with two lyric sheets for the song you chose.
(Cassette tapes will not be accepted.)
For this feedback sessions, we will be listening to the first verse and first chorus of each song, taking up to 30 songs in total.
If you arrive earlier than 5:15pm, you will be asked to wait in line, on the covered porch. Members from over 75 miles outside of Davidson County or over a two-hour drive will be given priority.
Once inside, you will sign in at the front desk and give your lyrics sheets of the song you chose, to the receptionist.
NSAI Weekly Workshops take place in our studio.
Please note that food and drink are NOT permitted in the studio.
NSAI does not require you to wear a mask, but we encourage you to do what feels most comfortable.
If you are unable to attend this workshop in person, please note that it will not be re-distributed for later viewing.
NSAI non-members are permitted to observe two workshops prior to joining at no cost. If you have attended more than two workshops as a non-member, you will be asked to join NSAI as a member to fully benefit from membership and attend future events.
Limited parking will be available in the NSAI parking lot.
Additional parking is available on the street and in neighboring paid lots.

More about Elizabeth Elkins:
Elizabeth Elkins is a professional songwriter who has written for BMG Nashville and EMI. She has a Top 30 Billboard Country song, and a Top 15 Billboard Canadian Country hit. She has more than 50 cuts, including Billy Currington, Kira Isabella, Aaron Goodvin and Ruby Boots. Her rock songs have appeared in over 50 television programs from ABC to the CW, MTV to FX.
She is half of the alt-country duo Granville Automatic, whose recent album Radio Hymns was praised by USA Today, the New York Times, the Washington Post, American Songwriter, No Depression and The Bitter Southerner. With the band, she was a Composer in Residence at the Seaside Institute and has toured internationally, often doing more than 100 shows a year. She was also a founding member of the all-girl band Farewell Angelina, a five-year journey that included a record deal and a country radio tour.
She has a Bachelor’s degree in English and History from Emory University and a Master’s in Mass Communication from the University of Georgia. In previous lives, she was a Marketing Director, magazine editor and punk rock frontperson. She served on the Atlanta Board of the Recording Academy and is the Vice President of the Board of Historic Nashville, Inc. Her other passions include horses, architecture, city planning, the First World War, travel and performing.
