Since she was 12 years old, Shaina Botwin had her sights set on working in the music industry. In May 2014, she moved to Nashville just two days after graduating high school to pursue her passion. That fall, she began studying Music Business at MTSU and running their chapter of CMA EDU.
One month into her first semester, Botwin was hired as Digital Marketing Manager at BBR Music Group. Over her 3.5 years there, she worked with artists including Dustin Lynch, Granger Smith, and Lindsay Ell to grow their social platforms, manage their online presences, and handle all things digital marketing. This job enabled her to gain experience and build relationships in the industry, but Botwin always knew her true passion was in publishing.
At the beginning of 2018, she took a position with her dream company, Creative Nation. As Creative Coordinator, Botwin represents a roster of 10 songwriters including Luke Laird, Lori McKenna, Natalie Hemby, & Barry Dean. Her role includes pitching songs, booking co-writes, developing writers, and more. Botwin is an advocate for university outreach in the music industry, and serves as a mentor for SOLID, GRAMMY U, and CMA EDU.
