Helene Cronin is a Texas artist who spent most of 2019 working on a new full-length record, produced by Matt King. OLD GHOSTS & LOST CAUSES is slated for release on Oct. 11, 2019. Her considers her writing style a merger between Americana and Country. Perhaps best described simply as an acoustic storyteller, she's often compared to Lori McKenna, Mary Chapin Carpenter and Nanci Griffith, but her sound is uniquely her own. Audiences are drawn to her intimate, personal performances and call her raw, honest and vulnerable, saying, "her songs make me think". In this video feature, NSAI Executive Director Bart Herbison sits down with Helene to talk the new album out October 11th, at www.helencronin.com.
