NSAI HOSTS EVENT FOR THE HOUSE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE IN NASHVILLE

Nashville, Tennessee- September 21, 2015. The U.S. House of Representatives Judiciary Committee began two days of informational meetings in Nashville with songwriters at The Bluebird Cafe.  The Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) hosted the event attended by House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (VA), Congressman Darrell Issa (CA) and Congressman Doug Collins (GA) and Committee staff along with songwriters from the NSAI Board of Directors and other NSAI songwriter members who have met with Members of Congress in Washington, D.C. in recent months. Songwriters discussed copyright issues and a performance featured writers Barry Dean, Heather Morgan and NSAI President Lee Thomas Miller.
