As a Chapter Coordinator, you will play a vital role in advancing the mission of the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) at the local level. This agreement is established between NSAI and the volunteer Chapter Coordinator to clearly define the responsibilities and expectations associated with the role.

By signing this agreement, the Coordinator acknowledges and agrees to:

  1. Fulfill the outlined Coordinator responsibilities.
  2. Follow the established procedures.
  3. Adhere to the guidelines detailed in the NSAI Volunteer Chapter Coordinator Manual.

 

Volunteer Chapter Coordinator Responsibilities

1. Abide by NSAI Policies:

  • Read and understand the NSAI Volunteer Chapter Coordinator Manual.

2. Maintain Accessibility and Communication Tools:

  • Ensure active phone, email, and high-speed internet access at all times.

3. Host Chapter Meetings:

  • Organize and host a minimum of four (4) in-person Chapter meetings annually.
  • Include the required NSAI Chapter Challenge, held every spring, as one of these meetings.

4. Submit Meeting Reports:

  • Provide Monthly Meeting Attendance Reports promptly at the end of each meeting.

5. Keep Chapter Information Updated:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on your Chapter's page on the NSAI website, including details about meeting dates, times, locations, and any relevant event information.

6. Utilize Designated Links Appropriately:

  • Adhere to NSAI's guidelines for using Chapter-specific links, including the Song Submission and Consent Link, Zoom link, and Chapter Meeting Attendance link.

7. Maintain Regular Communication:

  • Stay in regular contact with the NSAI Director of Chapters regarding events, questions, or concerns.
  • Ensure all special in -person special event requests are submitted for approved to NSAI at least 90 days in advance.

8. Manage Chapter Funds Accounts:

  • Follow NSAI guidelines for accessing and using Chapter Fund Account resources through the appropriate channels.

9. Protect Organizational Content:

  • o Do not reproduce or distribute NSAI organizational materials to individuals who are not current members.

10. Follow Social Media and Communication Protocols:

  • Adhere to NSAI's social media guidelines and use only NSAI-approved communication platforms.
  • Ensure all communications are respectful and aligned with NSAI’s values.

 

*NSAI reserves the right to accept, deny, or terminate any local Chapter's participation with NSAI at any time.
