Meetings consist of reviewing a lesson on the craft of songwriting or a music business related subject. We then host a feedback session where participants share a song with the group. Members should bring a song to share and lyric sheets for the group.

NSAI Tin Pan South Songwriting Seminar

The Tin Pan South Songwriting seminar was in incredible two days of incredible songs, stories and growing in the craft!

So proud that we had several of our St. Louis chapter members attend:  Kris Larson, Larry Byars. Dave Henson, Gary Boevers, Kathy Kay Wallace.

Great March Madness Meeting ;)

We had a record turnout for our in-person meeting 3/16/26 and heard some great songs!!  Keep it going St. Lou!!

This program is a resource to build a foundational understanding on common practices and terminology within the profession of songwriting. This includes information about royalties and the distribution of royalties, licensing, performing rights societies, and publishing and record label deals.
