About Caroline Watkins:

Country songwriter Caroline Watkins was born and raised in Nashville, TN. She signed her first publishing deal at Warner-Chappell in 2016 at 18 years old, and in 2017, she was awarded the Miranda Lambert Women Creator’s Scholarship at Belmont University. She also spent some time touring and performing, opening for artists such as the legendary Willie Nelson, Walker Hayes, and Brett Eldredge, before deciding to be a full-time songwriter and help other artists tell their stories. 

Watkins currently writes at SMACK Songs, and she has co-written songs for artists such as Megan Moroney, Hailey Whitters, Ella Langley, Mackenzie Porter, and more. She has also written multiple songs with her sister Lauren Watkins. When she’s not writing, she loves being home in the backyard with her baby boy, husband, and 2 dogs.
