Join our monthly meetings virtually on ZOOM as we find our new 904 in-person meeting location! Suggestions welcome! [DM Tracy]
Songwriters of all musical genres and skill levels are welcome and encouraged to attend. We offer a short educational session with
songwriting exercises or music industry tips, followed by a community-led song feedback listening session for member's that have submitted their original songs prior to the meeting. Constructive communication is encouraged; GOOD VIBES Only!

It's time for the 2026 NSAI CHAPTER CHALLENGE!!!
What is the Chapter Challenge, you ask?...
The winners of the NSAI Chapter Challenge are determined by votes on songs submitted by attendees at the May 2026 JAX NSAI chapter meeting.
The winning song from each NSAI chapter is then selected by an NSAI panel resulting in the Chapter Challenge Top 20 and overall winners.
Every year the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) arranges the “NSAI Chapter Challenge". This event allows NSAI members in local chapters around the world to submit ONE (1) pre-recorded song at their local chapter meeting.
To participate, you must be a current NSAI member & affiliated with the chapter you plan to compete in by their April or May meeting date. Being affiliated means you have joined a local NSAI chapter, receive information, and participate in that chapter’s activities.
The Chapter Coordinators facilitate the Chapter Challenge meeting during which members will listen to all the member songs submitted by NOON the DAY of the Meeting (1st Monday of each month).
After the last song is played, fellow members will vote on the song they think deserves to make it to Round 2 of the Chapter Challenge.
Each member may submit only ONE (1) song. If you are affiliated with multiple chapters, you may only submit ONE (1) song to ONE (1) chapter for the Chapter Challenge. Submitting multiple entries will result in disqualification.
Chapter Coordinators present to facilitate the voting process receive an automatic song submission for Round 2 as a thank you for their dedication and time as a Chapter Coordinator volunteer.
Who picks the WINNING SONG from each Chapter?...
NSAI has appointed a committee that will listen to all songs entered into Round 2. The committee will vote and choose the Top 20 song submissions collectively from both the winning member songs and Coordinator entries.
What could you WIN IN THE CHAPTER CHALLENGE!?...
Top Finalists Prize Package are based on the number of votes received from the NSAI appointed committee.
There will be ONE (1) NSAI member and ONE (1) NSAI Coordinator chosen as the CHAPTER CHALLENGE winner from the Top 20 Finalists.
The winning NSAI Member & winning NSAI Coordinator whose songs are chosen will each receive:
A curated Nashville, Music Row experience — exclusively customized for each winning writer specific to their individual talent, inspirations, and goals, including:
• Two industry meetings in alignment with the writer’s unique style (to be completed within a year of winning)
• Lunch with NSAI Staff (to be completed within a year of winning)
• One (1) Roundtrip flight on Southwest Airlines, Official Airline Partner of NSAI - Winners will receive flight vouchers and instructions to book their own flights. [Flight vouchers expire on May 1, 2027. Limited to travel only in cities serviced by Southwest Airlines.]
• Two (2) night hotel stay at NSAI Partner hotel in Nashville - Excluding predetermined blackout dates and upon availability. [Hotel accommodations cannot be scheduled during the months of March or September]
**NOTE: Travel is for two (2) days and two (2) nights (exclusions for dates of travel apply). The trip must be booked at least two (2) months in advance and scheduled between Monday-Thursday.
• A guided tour of the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum (to be completed within a year of winning)
