Hailing from Kansas City, Kate Cosentino grew up with a passion for guitar and songwriting. A spirited professional touring artist and songwriter, Kate has not only rocked stages but also gained industry smarts through her work in the music industry.
Kate's songwriting journey began with the whimsical tunes of Sara Bareilles and Regina Spektor, sparking a lifelong passion. She studied jazz guitar in her hometown and quickly started writing her own music. She joined the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) at just 14, eagerly attending meetings at her local Kansas City chapter until her big move to Nashville where she attended Belmont University.
Kate double majored in music business and songwriting, blending her creative flair with business savvy. Throughout her highschool and college years Kate worked at companies like Folk Alliance International, Mmgt, and Secret Road - learning the ins and outs of different aspects of the music industry. She even ran the Belmont University Songwriters Association (BUSA) while in school. Upon graduating in December of 2020, she started working in social media consulting helping artists develop their social media presence and run ads for their releases and tours. Whether she's performing or supporting other artists/writers, Kate brings her unique charm and infectious enthusiasm to everything she does.
