Brooks Huntley embodies the spirit of country music in his own way. On the bedrock of classic story-telling, musicality, and John-Mayer-like inspired guitar sensibilities, he’s carved out a lane all his own. Brooks is the grandson of a lifetime professional blues musician and byproduct of the Live Music Capital of the World, Austin, TX. He started playing downtown Austin bars at 12 years old and built his craft with influences from Keith Urban, Noah Kahan, Eagles, Jason Isbell, and John Mayer. His soulful tenor voice has been heard from ‘Dirty 6th’ in Austin, to the top 30 on ABC’s “Rising Star”, to Nashville’s legendary Bluebird Cafe, where he was invited to sing his song ‘Roots Now’ by hall of fame songwriter, Liz Rose. Brooks is also an accomplished producer and songwriter, producing, Matt Cooper’s “Highs and Lows”, which broke the top 50 on the MediaBase Country charts. Look for much more on the horizon from the budding Country star.
