Tim Comeaux has continued the songwriting grind since playing the NSAI Songwriter Spotlight in June 2023. He has had 14 independent artist cuts and has several more currently waiting on release dates. Tim is continuing to meet with and build relationships with publishers and A&R staff as he works toward his goal of getting his first major label cut and then eventually a publishing deal. He co-hosts an annual songwriting retreat in town, and this November will be the 6th consecutive year of the retreat. His songs have been performed by co-writers at The Listening Room and the Bluebird Cafe as his tribe continues their journey. He and his co-writers received the NSAI Member Awards Song of the Year Award in 2025 for the song Dumpster Diving, and they performed it at the awards ceremony. Tim knows it's a marathon and not a sprint. He continues to build relationships and has had success getting the opportunity to pitch songs to major artists along the way.
