Philip Morgan has been all systems go since arriving in Nashville a short 8 months ago. He is an emerging force in the songwriting community, proudly holding the 2024 American Songwriter Country Song of the Year title and the 2024 NSAI Chapter Challenge Song Contest winner. His talent has also led him to be a finalist in prestigious competitions, including the 2024 Texas Songwriter Contest and the 2023 NSAI/BMI/Bluebird Song and Lyric contest. Not stopping there, he claimed the 2023 NSAI Pitch Award and has co-written captivating tracks such as “How You Been (Letter to the County Line Girl)” by Chase Matthew, along with “Whiskey Over Wine” and “Two+Me” by Whitney Wren. His songwriting prowess has attracted holds with various artists, including the talented Nate Smith.  With an exceptional ability to craft unforgettable melodies and catchy hooks, he frequently collaborates with notable figures like Chris Sligh, Ryan Carpenter, Chris August, Jason Duke, Marty James, Chris DeStefano, and David Ray Stevens. His influence extends to the development of promising artists such as Austin Michael, Jake Hess III, and Hunt Pipkin, solidifying his reputation as a gifted and sought-after songwriter in the country music landscape.
