Ben Johnson is a triple-threat writer, producer, and vocalist signed to a joint publishing venture with Nashville-based Tape Room Music and LA-based APG and Runner Music. Originally from Meridian, Mississippi, Johnson grew up with aspirations to pursue a music career in Nashville. Johnson has landed cuts across genres, from Justin Timberlake, Meek Mill, Diplo, Weezer, and David Guetta, to Morgan Wallen, HARDY, Thomas Rhett, Jelly Roll and more. Johnson has earned 10 number-one singles including Dierks Bentley’s “Gone,” Jelly Roll’s “Liar,” and HARDY’s “TRUCK BED. In 2021, Johnson’s co-written #1 song “One of Them Girls,” performed by Lee Brice, had an unprecedented sweep across ASCAP, BMI, and SESAC for Country Song of The Year. He has continued to write hits across genres including Dasha’s “Not At This Party,” and BigXthePlug and Bailey Zimmerman’s “All The Way.”
