What made you fall in love with music?
I first fell in love with music in 3rd grade when my dad introduced me to Broadway Musicals and my mom signed me up for piano lessons. I was captivated by how listening to songs could make me feel so many intense emotions. I knew then that my “dream job” would have to incorporate music in some way. No matter what other potential avenues I explored, nothing brought me happiness like music did.
Who is your favorite artist/band?
Everyone who meets me quickly learns that I am a MASSIVE Swiftie. I also love Demi Lovato, Halsey, Ashley McBryde, and Miranda Lambert.
What drew you to NSAI?
I was interested in NSAI because of their mission to advocate for songwriters. The celebration of these immensely talented people, who are usually found in the background, is incredibly important. I was also excited about the opportunity to work with a motivated team of people who are just as passionate about music as I am! Younger me would be freaking out to learn I work in Music Row!
