  • To understand melody in music, think about some music you’re familiar with. If you were asked to hum it, what would that sound like? The part of the music that you’d hum is the melody.  According to: Hoffmanacademy.com

About Amanda Roach:

Amanda Roach grew up on Long Island, New York and moved to Nashville in 2020 after attending the University of Central Florida. While at UCF, she found her passion for the music business and fell in love with Nashville.  Once here, she discovered Music Publishing and accepted the position of Catalog Manager at Warner Chappell. Amanda soon moved onto the creative team as A&R Coordinator, solidifying her love of songs and the people that write them.  In January 2024, Amanda moved over to Red Street Records and King Pen Music as Manager of A&R and Publishing where she has the opportunity to develop and grow the companies' diverse rosters of incredibly talented songwriters and artists.

About King Pen Music:

In January 2022, Kelly King's relationships with music and artists led her to Red Street Records, founded by Jay DeMarcus (of Rascal Flatts) and Dan Crockett. Through her relationship working with Rascal Flatts, Kelly, in addition to King Pen, serves as Vice President of Publishing.

Since its founding in 2018, the label has grown into a multi-dimensional company, guiding musicians through Music Row and beyond. Artists signed to the country division of Red Street Records include Chris Lane, Neon Union, Ryan Larkins, Kaleb Sanders, and Taylor Austin Dye. Songwriters (country) signed include Kelley Lovelace, Adam Hambrick, Daymon Osborn, and Ava Suppelsa.

The King Pen Music & Red Street Records relationship does not slow there, because as of January 2024, Amanda Roach began serving as Manager A&R & Publishing for the country division of the label as well.
