Royalties. Registrations. Revenue. It can all feel overwhelming—but it doesn’t have to be. Join us for our July NSAI Southern Missouri Chapter meeting on Tuesday, July 15 at 6:30 PM at The Nest Venue/NuVive Medical Center in Branson for a crash course in one of the most important (and often overlooked) parts of your songwriting career: Performing Rights Organizations (PROs).
This session will walk you through the role of PROs like ASCAP, BMI, and SESAC in tracking, collecting, and distributing royalties when your music is played publicly—on radio, streaming services, live shows, and more. You’ll also learn how to affiliate with a PRO, register your songs, and decide whether registering as your own publisher is the right move.
What we’ll cover:
Location:
The Nest Venue/NuVive Medical Center
800 State Hwy 248 | Bldg 3A | Branson, MO
Time:
6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
We’ll also feature our monthly song feedback session, so bring an original to share if you’d like to participate.
This session is perfect for beginners and experienced songwriters alike. Come learn how to get paid for your songs—and make every note count.
