- NSAI Song Contest
You’ve written the song—now what? For many songwriters, the next step is performing it. But whether you take the stage yourself or hand your lyrics to someone else, knowing how songs come alive in front of an audience is a vital part of the craft.
Join us on Tuesday, September 16 at 6:30 PM at The Nest Venue/NuVive Medical Center in Branson for a meeting focused on Performance Skills—helping you gain confidence, build stage presence, and better communicate your story through live performance.
This session is designed for both performing and non-performing songwriters. You'll learn how to connect emotionally with listeners, how iconic artists like Freddie Mercury, Adele, and Garth Brooks captivate audiences, and how to collaborate effectively if you don’t perform your own songs.
What you’ll experience:
Location:
The Nest Venue/NuVive Medical Center
800 State Hwy 248 | Bldg 3A | Branson, MO
Time:
6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
We’ll close the evening with our song feedback session—bring a song if you'd like to share and receive feedback.
This meeting is open to both NSAI members and guests. Whether you're comfortable behind a mic or just getting started, you're invited to grow with us.
