Meetings consist of reviewing a lesson on the craft of songwriting or a music business related subject. We then host a feedback session where participants share a song with the group. Members should bring a song to share and lyric sheets for the group.

Thanks to everyone who attended the meeting on February 25. We spent time discussing how we each come up with melodies for our songs, and as expected there were many different methods: chords first, melody first then chords, or just coming with tunes in our heads. It was interesting to hear everyone's take.

February 9, 2026 (Nashville, Tenn.) - The Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) will once again honor standout members as well as avid supporters of the organization at their annual NSAI Member Awards presented by Regions Bank.
