Kristen Kelly
Kristen grew up a native Texan in the small town of New Braunfels but wanting to keep her southern roots she made the move to Nashville in 2020. It was here in music city that she attended Lipscomb University attaining a degree in graphic design and animation. She has worked in different areas exploring marketing, illustration, branding, social media, and print/web design but ultimately developed a desire to work within the entertainment industry by using design to tell stories. It was this desire that led Kristen to NSAI where she has been given the opportunity to support and create an industry where stories are fostered and told every day. If she’s not at the office you can find her hiking at Radnor, thrifting, and busy being a plant mom.
What made you fall in love with music?
When I was young my dad first introduced me to the world of music by playing a Willie Nelson Vinyl on our family record player. Music was a space where we could explore and connect whether that be listening to Abbey Road 10 million times or blasting John Mark McMillian in the car with my older brother. It was in these spaces that I gained an appreciation and love for music and all that contributes to it.
What music are you listening to?
It is a constant Hodge podge of different artists and genres but some of my go-tos would have to be Jess Ray, Lawrence, Harry Styles, Noah Kahan, Drew Holcomb, The Brook & The Bluff, Lizzy McAlpine, Ben Rector and so many more!
Favorite Nashville Restaurant?
I love trying any and all new foods but right now my favorite would have to be The Smiling Elephant. It is a Thai restaurant on the south side of town with Pad Thai that is to die for!
