Tuesday July 9th - Three in The Round in Statesville

NSAI, Southern Songwriters Association and Roots in the Round are co-hosting a songwriter show at The Old Jail in Statesville, NC on Tuesday July 9th at 7:00. This gathering will serve as our July meeting. Come out and support these three area songwriter groups and meet fellow writers for one big evening of original music. There will be two artists from each organization featured; BK Keedy and Tony Thomas will represent NSAI. We'll see you there!

Charlotte Chapter NSAI meeting June 13th @ 7:00 (Always the 2nd Tuesday each month)
Location: The Well - 220 Main St. Pineville NC
Meetings consist of reviewing a lesson on the craft of songwriting or a music business related subject. We then host a feedback session where participants share a song with the group. Members should bring a song to share and lyric sheets for the group.

Chapter Challenge winners Charlotte NSAI

Congratulations to Cyndi Sullivan for winning the NSAI chapter challenge for the Charlotte Chapter. Her great song 'Whisper of the Heart' is outstanding. Also congrats to the runner-up Anna Haller for 'A Country Song'.

We meet on the 2nd Tuesday at The Well in Pineville - come join us!

We Have a Winner

Congratulations to Greyson Campbell for winning our NSAI Charlotte chapter challenge. His great song 'Took The Party With You' won out over many other excellent songs.

Our runner up was Kris Crepeau with his song 'Already There' which won in a tie breaker over Victoria Beare's excellent song 'The Tide'. This was a very, very, good group of songs from our members. Thank you to all who submitted a song and attended our meeting.

We are back to our regular schedule on the second Tuesday of each month.

Next meeting - December 8th at 7:00pm.
