NSAI NYC Chapter, in conjunction with the Toronto, Chicago & Long Island chapters is thrilled to present a very special event:
MEET YOUR NEXT CO-WRITER !
Saturday March 20th from 10am-12pm CST.
We will start with a short presentation on co-writing covering several tips and suggestions. After the presentation, all participants will be randomly "popped" from room to room via the Zoom "break-out room" feature for an opportunity to meet songwriters from NYC, Long Island, Toronto and Chicago! After a brief chat in each "room" with 2 or 3 other writers, we will switch everyone to a different room with different writers! Then, RINSE AND REPEAT... Hopefully we will be able to do at least 5-6 rounds giving everyone the opportunity to meet lots of folks. If you find that you "click" with somebody, you can share information and co-write together! You will be talking a bit about yourself, so start thinking about your strengths and what you are looking for in a co-writer.For those that have never co-written before it will be a great opportunity to try it. For those that have experience co-writing, it will be a great opportunity to meet potential new co-writers that are compatible. This will be a fun and relaxed event!
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED AND THE DEADLINE IS 11pm CST THURSDAY 3/18.
THIS IS A FREE EVENT, BUT SIGN UP EARLY SINCE SLOTS WILL BE LIMITED. ALSO, THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO NSAI MEMBERS ONLY!
