Congratulations to the following people whose songs were selected for the Spring 2017 Publisher Luncheon CD!

The U.S. House of Representatives today adopted new rules to select the U.S. Register of Copyrights.  H.R. 1695 requires a process to choose three nominees for the President to select from, one of whom would be appointed as U.S. Register of Copyrights to serve a ten-year term.  The bill removes the appointment for the Librarian of Congress.  The next step is approval by the U.S. Senate.

 
Throughout the month of May, all content, Thursday night workshops and online events will be focused on topics involving sync, hence our 'Synco De Mayo' themed month!

April 1-April 30 “Recommended” Songs Considered for P2P Luncheon.
Congratulations to the writers below who had songs recommended between March 1st and March 31st for consideration for our Publisher Luncheon. These were submitted to the Song Evaluation Service and were recommended by the NSAI Evaluators who reviewed them.
NSAI staffers will review all songs recommended between January 1st and April 30th and will choose up to 15 for the June 2017 Publisher Luncheon.

Each quarter NSAI invites all of the local Nashville Music Publishers and PRO Reps to attend a luncheon. Congratulations to the NOMINEES whose songs are being considered for the CD that goes home with 50+ Music Publishers. Songs considered for this CD are recommended by the NSAI Song Evaluation Service and the NSAI Membership Representatives.
