We'll be celebrating the holidays at our second annual Philly Chapter NSAI HOLIDAY BASH at the historic Mermaid Inn, a music venue/bar in the Chestnut Hill area of Philadelphia. It is a performance event with an open mic, and a pot luck dinner.
We are taking names in advance for performing at the open mic -- so, IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO PERFORM, please RSVP so we can get you on the list. We are inviting other songwriters in the Philadelphia area. NSAI members will be given first choice for performance slots, so be sure to RSVP before the event to get on the list. If you have written a holiday song, now's the time to bring it out. (all originals, of course, at this event, no cover songs!)
And please bring a dish to share -- casserole, salad, pizza, veggies/dip, dessert, cookies, or snack/munchies. With the early evening start time, plan to come early to have dinner and catch all songwriters who'll be performing.
All drinks are to be purchased from the venue (you can bring your own water bottle, but do not bring a beverage for the potluck). We are asking a $5 cash donation, which will go to the venue. Songwriters, spouses, significant others, and friends are welcome to join and celebrate with us, too. There'll be plenty of food, great music, and great new songwriting friends!
