Nashville, Tennessee (July 19, 2023) – The Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) along with presenting partner City National Bank is proud to reveal the first round of stellar artists and songwriters set to take the stage at the 6^th annual Nashville Songwriter Awards. TRANNIE ANDERSON, RENEE BLAIR, BEN JOHNSON, TRACY LAWRENCE, MEGAN MORONEY, HUNTER PHELPS, EMILY SHACKELTON, BLAKE SHELTON, COLE SWINDELL, DALLAS WILSON and more will appear at Ryman Auditorium on September 26, 2023 to perform in celebration of the award-winning songs, songwriters, and honorees of the night.

Tickets will be available for purchase at Ryman.com beginning at 10:00am Central on Friday, July 21, 2023.

The two hour performance-filled ceremony will be an evening dedicated to the brilliant minds behind the hit songs we love, as well as those that contribute to the success of the songwriting profession. The ‘Songwriter’ and ‘Songwriter-Artist of the Year’ will be revealed, and the peer-voted ‘Song of the Year’ and ’10 Songs I Wish I’d Written’ awards, one of the most cherished honors in the songwriting industry, will be celebrated.

As previously announced, the evening will also include special segments for honorees, BOBBY BRADDOCK (Kris Kristofferson Lifetime Achievement Award), TIM MCGRAW (NSAI President’s Keystone Award), and DAVID ISRAELITE (NSAI Advocacy Award), who will each be celebrated by the organization. Presenting partner City National Bank returns for the fifth year in a row, continuing their unwavering support of NSAI and the songwriting community.

The Nashville Songwriter Awards are revered as the some of the most coveted in the industry, as the ’10 Song I Wish I’d Written’ and ‘Song of the Year’ are solely determined by the recipients’ peers, and the Songwriter and Songwriter-Artist of the Year awards are given to the Nashville-based Songwriter and Songwriter-Artist that had the highest chart activity during the eligible period.
