Ive been pretty uninspired during this crisis but this brought me back to remind me to "free write" or as Pat Pattison does "object writing" where you write for 1 minute or a 2 minute spurt every day with no boundaries. This exercises the brain part that writes so I can have ideas when im sitting with people in a spontaneous fashion. Jon is the nicest guy in the world - hes always been helpful and free with his time since I met him after his first number 1 - Whatever Shes Got by David Nail. I follow him and watch his progress - no wonder he has 12 number 1's. All the other writers talk about what a great voice he has and how they love having him sing the demo. Hes a quiet giant.
