Rivers Rutherford

A Memphis native, Rivers is a current Board member, a faculty member for NSAI’s Song Camps and has lobbied with NSAI in Washington, D.C.  His songwriting credits include the Brad Paisley - Dolly Parton duet “When I Get Where I’m Going,” Toby Keith’s “Bullets In The Gun,” Justin Moore’s “How I Got To Be This Way,” Chuck Wicks’ “Stealing Cinderella,” Rodney Atkins’ “These Are My People,”  Kenny Chesney’s “Living In Fast Forward,” Trace Adkins’ “Ladies Love Country Boys,” Tim McGraw’s “Real Good Man,” Faith Hill’s “When The Lights Go Down,” Brooks & Dunn’s “Ain’t Nothing ’Bout You,” Gretchen Wilson’s “Homewrecker” and  Montgomery-Gentry’s “If You Ever Stop Loving Me.”  Rivers was ASCAP’s 2006 Country Songwriter of the Year.
