PHILADELPHIA CHAPTER WRITERS NIGHT & OPEN MIC ON WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 20, 2019

Saturday, February 16, 2019 - 4:23pm

We're featuring NSAI Songwriters in "the round", followed by an open mic, on Wednesday, February 20, 2019.

WRITERS NIGHT & OPEN MIC
*Wednesday, February 20, 2019, 7 PM
Brickette Lounge
1339 Pottstown Pike
West Chester, PA 19380

The Writers Round starts at 7 PM featuring four Philadelphia area NSAI members. Following the round, all songwriters can play a 3 or 4 song set throughout the evening.

This is our first event at this venue, and depending on member interest and turn-out, we'll continue doing this three to four times a year, with different songwriters being featured in "the round" each time.

It's a great opportunity to network and meet other songwriters, to share your music as you hone your performance skills, and support other songwriters and our local NSAI chapter. Bring friends, significant others, and invite songwriters you know who would like to play and learn more about the Philadelphia NSAI Chapter.

Hope to see you there!

* This event will be postponed and rescheduled if there is a winter storm, snow or freezing rain.

Once the creative “fun”of writing and recording a song is completed, what’s next? How do we reach a wider audience for our music?

This is when knowledge about the publishing side of the music business is absolutely essential!
For all types of publishing – self publishing, sync placement (TV/film), and capturing the ear of reputable publishers (a value-added benefit of NSAI membership!), we’ll focus on the importance of building relationships and how to do it.
