KIM WIGGINS - PEER MUSIC

Beginning her career on the record label side, Arista Records, Kim saw what it took for an artist to get a record deal but most importantly what it took for those artists to keep the record deal and that was cutting amazing songs. It wasn’t long before she started putting a lot of her time into seeking and finding great talent. In ‘98, she was hired by Acuff Rose as their creative manager and she quickly learned that she had found her passion. “I love working with writers because they put it all on the line for the craft of writing the best song and they never have a plan B,” she explains. Since beginning her career in music publishing, she has worked for companies like, Acuff Rose, Blacktop Music Group, Sony/ATV and currently, Peer Music Nashville. “In landing at Peer Music, I feel I have found a company that really strives to give their writers the attention needed to achieve success and that is such an important element to what we do, “ she explains. Kim has been devoted to working with and developing songwriters . She has placed poignant chart-topping tunes and has been honored to work alongside of some of Nashville’s biggest hit makers.
