CLOSING GUEST INTERVIEW: JIMMIE ALLEN Jimmie Allen's talent for songwriting is undeniable, having written a song that was featured in a Super Bowl commercial and appearing in a Diet Coke ad with megastar Taylor Swift. “Blue Jean Baby,” off his debut self-titled EP, immediately caught the attention of country music fans and critics alike with its soulful groove— rocketing it to the top of digital playlists, across all genres. After introducing his music at festivals across the country last summer, this winter Allen will hit the road once again to share the stage with Kane Brown and Scotty McCreery. The hot newcomer has already been heralded as one of the top “artists to watch in 2018” by Rolling Stone, Billboard, Pandora, Sounds Like Nashville, NY Country Swag, Country Music Rocks and New England Country Music and has earned spots in CMT’s “18 for 2018” Listen Up program and Bobby Bones’ Class of 2018. ABOUT TIN PAN SOUTH SONGWRITING SEMINAR
Previously known as NSAI Spring Training, not only has the event had a name change, but we've changed a few other things as well! Tin Pan South Songwriting Seminar (TPSSS) is the perfect event for songwriters of any genre and any skill level to further develop their songwriting skills. Whether you are on your first song or song number 232, you will walk away from the seminar with new knowledge, inspiration, and hopefully quite a few new co-writing friends!
As NSAI’s longest running event (over 20 years) we are proud to say that this seminar has been the standard by which all other Nashville songwriting seminars are measured. Former Spring Training attendees include hit writers Jon Vezner (Where’ve You Been – Kathy Mattea), Tia Sillers (I Hope You Dance – LeAnne Womack), Barry Dean (Girls Chase Boys - Ingrid Michaelson, Pontoon – Little Big Town) and Lance Carpenter (Love Me Like You Mean It – Kelsea Ballerini).
AS A TIN PAN SOUTH SONGWRITING SEMINAR ATTENDEE, YOU MAY HAVE THE CHANCE TO PLAY THE WORLD'S LARGEST SONGWRITERS FESTIVAL, TIN PAN SOUTH!
After you complete your registration, you will have the opportunity to submit a song for consideration to play Tin Pan South. All submitted songs will be reviewed by a panel of NSAI staff which will narrow down the Top 24. The selected songs will be placed on a private voting page, accessible only to registered Seminar attendees to cast their votes for the top 12 songs! The top 12 winning songwriters will have the opportunity to play their song on night one of the Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival!
**Only enter if you are comfortable performing live. You are required to play the original song submitted to "Best Of", if selected for performance.
**NSAI will not provide accompanist
